Our good homie, and Norcal Bataleon, 3L & Switchback Bindings team rider Taylor Lucia spent the day filming with Josh Fricke a few days ago, and they just dropped a hammer of an edit. Taylor rips. If you see him, you should buy him a beer. If you see Fricke, you should let him know he set the record for mentioning himself 3 times more than the rider being featured in the edit. Either way, the edit is great!

Yesterday I decided to hit the snooze button a few too many times, but thankfully Silver Serino kept letting me know what I was missing and that I was "blowing it" not being at Northstar already. Considering I live at lake level, and didn't see any snow on the ground outside, I was a little apprehensive. Boy was I wrong. Yesterday was a Pow day. Not a dust on crust day. We got shacked. A lot. And the fact that is nuking snow at my house right now(at lake level) should inspire you to get out this weekend and shred. We are getting pummeled. Goodbye all of the hate we have for last season(if you can even call it a season), winter has shown up this year. BRING. IT. ON!

Northstar Opening Day 2012
Far earlier than expected, Northstar California opened yesterday to Lake Tahoe's prototypical blue skies and and warm weather. With Vista and Arrow chairs turning, that meant there was plenty of terrain open to get both your park fix on, and some wind in your face.
John Foy with style for days
There is a super fun park setup on Arrow consisting of an up-flat rail, long flat box, back-to-back down bars, ending up with 2 perfectly shaped jumps. Couple that with side hits and perfectly groomed trails to bomb down, it's easy to understand why there seemed to be endless smiles all day.
