Have you ever taken someone to the beach who had never been before? It's kinda cool to check out how someone reacts to a new environment.. I took Matt and Aaron Alves up to the glacier. They looked at it for a minute, kicked the snow with their boots, and finally started to hike up. It was kinda like those surf gurus checkin' the sets before paddling out. These twins are definitely city boys, and they didn't have to tag my truck before I figured out their style ls downtown, fat laces, 4XL jackets, straight brim hats, Ben Davis' and no gloves; That's what they wore snowboarding. Aaron and Matt had some sick stuff going on a rail slide we had set up. Aaron was doing b.s. l80 press-ons and then slowly rotating out f.s., it looked really clean. His brother Matt did some crazy looking b.s. railslide to b.s. out. If you didn't know which way he rode, the trick looked awkward. The longer the day got, the more tricks they tried and the brothers seemed to push each other on. I got a glimpse of the twins on the hill, and you can check them out in Big Jean Fantasy and Vertigo.
