Filming is a big thing for me. I love the connection of working
with someone to get an end result-that means a lot to me. It
sounds like I’m gonna get some opportunities. Not that
it’s only Kodak courage, it’s just really cool when
new things happen and the camera is out. People can call me
a photo slut all they want! I’ll probably end up doing
some contests too. It makes you a better rider because it puts
you in a state of mind where you have to perform. read

Skateboarding
in New Zealand
Dunedin, my home town, is on the lower east coast of the southern
of New Zealand’s two main islands. As far as nice concrete
transitions go there is the Mornington Capsule bowl built in
the late seventies with a street course built in the nineties
next to it. There are also several nice public mini ramps. Street
skating the inner city evenings away is how a lot of skaters
get their daily dose. It’s my home town so I love it, but
as far as traveling here to skate, there are better cities in
Aotearoa for skating with a wider range of terrain. So most
years, I try to travel to some of my favorite spots around the

Skateboarding makes you a better snowboarder and snowboarding
makes you a better skateboarder. Tricks cross over between the
two mediums. Something you’ve always wanted to do on your
skateboard is possible on your snowboard and visa versa. Regardless
of how much you compare and contrast, when it comes down to
it, skateboarding and snowboarding fulfill the same needs. read

For those people, hearing the new material would be something
of a shock, but it’s been a natural progression all the
way. Ian MacKaye of Fugazi noted the same thing about his band,
saying that the musical progression of their records makes perfect
sense to fans who have been along for the ride. The fifth album,
Here’s Where the Strings Come In, was the least-hyped but
maybe most brilliant work. Indoor Living marked a turn toward
a slightly less noisy sound, though it still contains fult-tilt
