Another
one of Nor Cal's old school rulers takes 2nd in the prestigious
Nationals* that just so happened to be in his back yard. Paul
Becker has been involved with skating and the N-Men since
1979 which may explain why the old man still has some tricks
up his sleeve. Paul introduced me to snowboarding and got
me to drop in on vert for the first time, so he's always had
my respect. He started snowboarding in 1984 and has always
been at the forefront of the stinkbug style. The N-men are
some pretty burly guys who do crazy shit, usually in a pool,
but Paul has the edge on snow.*(Paul just took 1st place for
the year (1995) for his age group in the USASA Series.)
