Tahoe has no Fluxin snow so I took off to Vegas to try these new bindings. Yeah sadly the Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort has about ten times the snow we have in tahoe. LVSSR isn't the object of this review so let's talk about bindings.
The DMCC Light lives up to the light hype. Flux hit the stage, spun around the pole a few times, and stripped down aspects of the binding to drop the ounces with no noticeable change in performance. The standard forward lean adjuster is gone but lean jockeys can still get their fix with multiple highback mounting points. The binding feels solid despite being so light. The straps are comfortable and keep everything tucked in and out of the way.
The only real issue is that all the hardware isn't tool-less. Luckily there are always plenty of tools on the hill. Also the footbed is made to bend upward, just below the toe ramp, for access to the disk. Only time will tell if bending that flap up over and over will cause it to break off but so far it looks fine. All in all a great binding that will not only make your board lighter but your wallet too.

So if you have a lazy eye like Stallone the babes on the chair will never notice with the lens on these bad joeys. The Arnette Series 3 Snow goggles are rocking the hinge style just like the original Arnette's did back in the day. The view is nice and as far as quality goes these are top notch. If you like the all black errything look I bet your sister won't steal these and if you need to check your steeze you can flip em around and make sure that your sunscreen is all rubbed in or that your skull face mask is on straight. They have multiple lenses and many colorways offered to keep you matching the newest stain on your kit to keep it fresh.
If you want to get pitted in the pow like a true brah you want one of these. This is a Lib Tech Banana Hammock POWDER ONLY board that floats effortlessly in the deep. Don't believe me? Just try it on a groomer for yourself and see how you like to ragdoll then. With a banana core and reverse sidecut this deck is a true pow slaying beast to say the least. The Mike Parillo graphics are sparkly and colorful and will take you on a Alice in Wonderland type of trip if you stare at it for too long. It rides equally sick in either direction and lands airs effortlessly. So if you are ready to bust out the parents or better half's credit card this should be your pow board. Just stay away from anything that isn't deep pow. I would go with the One Ball Jay wax rather than a brazilian wax job to rock this Banana Hammock.
