The Crocodiles started in San Diego with O.G. members Brandon Welchez and Charles Rowell. Their first albums “Summer of Hate” and “Sleep Forever” delivered  catchy synth hooks and dancy drum beats. These albums channeled global attention with their dark noise pop sound. The now band of 5 headed to Euro-Hipster meca, Berlin to create a new album under the record label “FrenchKiss”. The new album “Endless Flowers” is planned to release June 5th (4th overseas).  Last month they kicked off a tour to promote the new album. I caught up with them in San Diego to see their last hometown show before they headed east. The place was packed and when the show ended the crowd of dark wavers and beach goths demanded an encore, so the chill band surprised  fans by playing their new single “Sunday (Psychic conversation #9)”. I expect great things from their new album. Be sure to cop it while its hot off the presses so when your hip bros ask you, “What you jammin too”? You can be like, “The Crocs newest album, you probably haven’t heard it yet”.
